I’m thirsty and I need a drink

waterfall freeWilderness place is an environment that has not been modified by human activity, or not controlled by humans.  It’s a deserting time for those who feel like they are in a wilderness, feeling lonely and secluded.  Are you in a time of wilderness and feel thirsty for God.

The Word of God says, I thirst for Thee (Psalm 63:1).  The Word of God says to stand fast in your faith in God and know that your thirst can be quenched.  You can get filled with the Holy Spirit.  John 7:38 says, “He who believes in Me, as the Scripture said, “From his innermost being will flow rivers of living water.”

Do you need a drink?  Allow God’s Word and His Spirit to fill you.  How do you quench your thirst and how do you get a drink that fills you?  We know that the Word of God fills us and the Holy Spirit lives in believers and our temples are filled with the joy and peace of God.  We must allow the Holy Spirit to reside in us by doing the will of God.

When you are in your time of wilderness, have a drink. When you call out to God, in your time of loneliness, you will feel as if you are in the company of hundreds of people.  You will not feel lonely but will know that God is with you.  The Word says if God is for you, who can be against you.  Allow the Lord to fill you with His living waters.  As the Word says in Matthew 5:6, “Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.  Be blessed.  Be filled.  Have a drink and quench your thirst with His Word.  Blessed Be The Lord.

Stand On His Promises

towel freeEver had the feeling of giving up?  Just want to throw in the towel.  Of course we have.  Life brings to everyone daily uncertainties and surprises.  We think something will turn out this way, and it turns out that way.  We have goals since high school graduation, and fifteen years later we still have the same goals that seem unattainable.

Hebrews 10:23 says, “Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for He is faithful that promised;).  When we have goals and dreams or a vision for life or the future and it seems like it’s taking forever to get here; to become a reality, the Word says that we should hold fast and progress in faith.  We must believe.  We cannot concentrate on the mental illness or the conflict; the arguments or the pain.  We must look to God, and pray.  As we pray, we walk with God as in having faith and continue to believe as we are on our journey.

We must believe that if we stand, that our vision will not perish; but we will have better than we would have hoped for.  God is faithful and He promised happiness to His children.  Happiness entails the fruits of the Spirit.

Many times people think that happiness is the money, the assets, the bank account.  Happiness is the peace of God; that no matter what we have or do not have, there are more important issues such as health and family.  When we stand on the promises of God, we will have the things that truly count in this world; in our lives.  Praises Be To The Lord.
