There is reason to shout, when you obey the Lord. You have completed each and every assignment, you have prayed and stayed on a straight path. You kept your eyes on Jesus, even when the darts came at you, people started to move away from you, especially those whom you thought would stay. You worshipped the Lord because of who He is, you kept a relationship with Him, your vessel is being used by Him. You have a clean vessel, you are not seated in the counsel of the ungodly, you praise God!
You have accepted His Son Jesus, and you have continued to walk in your ministry. He has given you ideas and you use them for the Kingdom. Your gifts are dedicated for His purpose. You have accepted Christ as your Savior, you love the Lord! And still the enemy comes in as a flood and more enemies arise against you. The ones who were supposed to stick with you, all of a sudden disappeard, formulated excuses, and you wonder what happened. HE IS TAKING YOU TO ANOTHER LEVEL, and they can’t come. Hoorah!
Who does the Lord take to the next level? One who reads His Word, one who obeys His Word, one who lives by His Word. The Lord has a future plan for His ministers. God has to take you to the next level, you cannot take yourself there. God has other ministries for us to attend to. God will fight your battles as He takes you there.
How do we move to the next level spiritually? PRAYER. The Lord wants us to draw to Him, to call on Him and to depend on Him. Humans cannot satisfy us, nor will they ever be there for us through thick and thin, through each level. The mere fact that you are raised to another level as you depend on God to take you there, and not others is because you have graduated from the former level, and from those friendships.
Jeremiah 33:3 says, “Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.” You are facing circumstances that are difficult to handle, overwhelming issues. You get discouraged, have people problems, they change on you. You can push through this by praying and calling out to God. The Holy Spirit will come to our rescue, He is our helper.
Pray To God, Praise Him, Worship Him, Give It All To Him, Ask For A Miracle, Fast, Ask The Lord To Increase Your Faith, “Pray Through”. God moves you higher as you cry to Him and pray through it all.
When the Lord is taking you to a new level the situation is always more than you can handle alone. The Lord wants to know how far you will go, how serious you are. He sees our heart and He answers prayers. HE TAKES US TO ANOTHER LEVEL!
One of my favorite chapters in the bible, from the book of Galatians is pertaining to the fruits of the Spirit. The Apostle Paul talks about, the fruits of the Spirit being; love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self control, in Galatians 5. The Apostle Paul instructs the church to stand fast in their freedom and to seek the opportunity to love one another.
How does one seek an opportunity to love? Galatians 2:20 says, “I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me. When our flesh has been crucified with Christ, the Holy Spirit operates in the life of the believer and we can love others.
In the book of 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 the bible says, “Love is patient, kind, does not envy, or boast, is not proud or rude, nor self seeking, and is not easily angered and keeps no records of wrong doings. Love itself always protects those who love others, and those who love others, protects them whom they love, by showing their love. Jesus said in John 13:34, “A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another, just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another.” Let’s all spread our fruits that we have been bestowed with to others, starting with loving others the way that the Lord wants us to, in our actions. Amen.
Ever had the feeling of giving up? Just want to throw in the towel. Of course we have. Life brings to everyone daily uncertainties and surprises. We think something will turn out this way, and it turns out that way. We have goals since high school graduation, and fifteen years later we still have the same goals that seem unattainable.
Hebrews 10:23 says, “Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for He is faithful that promised;). When we have goals and dreams or a vision for life or the future and it seems like it’s taking forever to get here; to become a reality, the Word says that we should hold fast and progress in faith. We must believe. We cannot concentrate on the mental illness or the conflict; the arguments or the pain. We must look to God, and pray. As we pray, we walk with God as in having faith and continue to believe as we are on our journey.
We must believe that if we stand, that our vision will not perish; but we will have better than we would have hoped for. God is faithful and He promised happiness to His children. Happiness entails the fruits of the Spirit.
Many times people think that happiness is the money, the assets, the bank account. Happiness is the peace of God; that no matter what we have or do not have, there are more important issues such as health and family. When we stand on the promises of God, we will have the things that truly count in this world; in our lives. Praises Be To The Lord.

Isaiah 28:1 says, “Woe to the crown of pride, to the drunkards of Ephraim, whose glorious beauty is a fading flower, which are on the head of the fat valleys of them that are overcome with wine!” The Word of the Lord says that we are fading flowers. Ladies, we know that we all grow older day by day. We know that flowers are beautiful, but do not last forever. We also know that it is the Lord who gives us our beauty.
I am here to say; ladies, you are beautiful. You are beautiful; when you put God 1st. You are beautiful when you walk in the fruits of the Spirit in love showing love and compassion. Ladies you are beautiful when; you acknowledge your Creator and when you confess the Lord Jesus with your mouth. You are beautiful when you stand for what is right, and ladies you are beautiful when you fellowship with your sisters in Christ and encourage non-believers to draw them into fellowship. So stand, you are beautiful!
Your beauty will not wither, but will last forever in the glory of God. Besides, people remember inner love that extends itself and acts of kind deeds. Amen.

I’m busy, I’m busy, I’m soooo busy. The world today has adopted the new word of the decade, “busy”. As a Christian you realize that brotherly and sisterly fellowship is important. The Apostle Paul loved his brothers and sisters in Christ to the extent that he not only instructed them about the duties of the church, but he was so loving pertaining to other Christians that he took the time to write them letters.
His letter to Timothy was so loving because he knew Timothy was facing a heavy burden of being responsible for matters dealing with the church. He warned the young pastor about a challenging task ahead, false doctrine and how to protect the people of God and his position in leadership. Today other people of God want to push you towards danger or watch you fall. We ought to lift one another up and encourage one another.
The “I’m so busy” phrase is just another way to dismiss others. If someone is doing the will of the Father, and they see others doing the will of the Father, isn’t that an invitation to connect with one another? The Apostle Paul says, “they have greedy motives.” If someone has a motive to do harm, how can they say God told me to do this? I’m never too busy to worship, my Father.
Worship is adoring God and giving reference to Him not only in song but in our daily actions, adoring His people, our brothers and sisters in Christ, when we know them to be genuine. The Apostle Paul was in prison when he encouraged the churches. He could have been overly concerned about his present position and his imprisonment. Instead he chose to encourage, and to spread the knowledge that he had been given of the Father. He wrote that the good news of Jesus Christ is a fact to be lived, a life of righteousness.
Worshipping God is sacred and it’s beautiful in a way that touches the worshipper. When we have a heart for God, we have a heart for people. Wake up people. I’m too busy should not be a phrase you use, on others that you claim to love. The Bible says in 2 Timothy 3:1-2, “This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. 2. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy.” It hurts, but it is so true. People love their own self so much that they feel a need to boast; to be proud, to say, “I’m so busy” in a disdainful way.
Many of us are busy, but keep in mind, that we should never be too busy to worship. Worship is genuine and it goes deep. Worship is being there for others, especially those of the household of faith. I’m agreeing with the Apostle, with God’s Word spoken through a man of God. I am never too busy for God, to worship Him, to encourage His people. Envy is banished, pride is crushed, bragging is relinquished, conceit is thrown out the window. Humble attitudes take precedence and God is watching. Praise His Name.

Ladies, do you ever feel like you are running a race? Get ready, get set, go! You hear the sound of the mark go off and off you go. The Word of God says in Philippians 3:14, “I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.” Now bear in mind that Philippians 3:16 says, “Nevertheless whereto we have already attained, let us walk by the same rule, let us mind the same thing.” Ladies if we are to walk as if we have already attained the prize or in the prize that we have already attained, why are we racing?
The Word of God says that Jesus is the Author and Finisher of our faith. The bottom line is that we should always press toward the goal that God has called us to. Since God has called every one of us to a different ministry, there should be no competition, no race. We are to press toward the prize in a humble manner, in obedience to the Father, obeying every assignment that God has given us. God does not give anyone the same assignment; because we all have unique gifts, unique ministries.
Two people might have a gift of singing but the assignment from God is different for each person or ministry on how it should be achieved. When we press to win the prize in which God has called us to, we should be reaching for Him to give us the prize; God’s hand to our hand. God will not give anyone else what He is handing over or giving us. He is the hand that is not shortened. Isaiah 59:1 says, “Behold, the Lord’s hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy that it cannot hear.” The Word says that we should live up to what we have already attained. The Lord will lead us to the rest; He gives us a little at a time. So there should be no race; only our own.
The Bible says, “I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith.” (2Timothy 4:7). In 2Tim.4:8, the Bible says, “Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day; and not to me only, but unto all them also that love His appearing.”
He is calling us to a heavenly calling to take part in spreading the Great Commission. There are pricipalities and powers in the air ruling in certain places, Ephesians 6:12. So God speaks to His ministers or the called according to His purpose. No one knows what God has told us except us and the Father, and we should walk in that manner for what we have attained through Christ’s power and wait for our next assignment.
One of the really good traits on running a race is to be still, take a rest, a break, a breather. Get a drink of water. John 7:38 says, “He that believeth on Me, as the Scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.” Amen.

Loving yourself is one of the required elements in your Christian walk; and why?, ‘because the Word of God says’, in Leviticus 19:18, “Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself; I am the Lord”. The Word of God says, love others as we love ourselves. Now this may seem a bit odd to you to love your neighbor even if you don’t know them; as much as you love yourself.
We must be neighborly and kind to others, and even if they seem strange or may not be living as a Christian, we ought to love them; not only secretly but outwardly by saying hello at least. We ought to love them enough to pray for them. Keep in mind that God’s Word says to love them as we love ourselves. Seemingly God is saying that it’s o.k. to love ourselves. We must have self love, an inner love of ourselves in order to express an outward love. We appear happy and our countenance is beautiful when we love ourself.
Proverbs 10:12 says, “Hatred stirreth up strifes; but love covereth all sins.” So love yourself and the love that you have for yourself and for others may cover your sins. God is love and love is powerful. It is one of the fruits of the Holy Spirit, who is God. Whether you have gone through stress, pain, loneliness, illnesses, trauma, heartache; just love yourself. Be in the eye of the storm, the Word of God; and love yourself.
