Prayer

Prayer is needed in our daily lives, because prayer is being devoted to our God; especially when we pray to communicate with Him.
When we pray we can be thankful for the blessings that we have received from the Lord.  It shows a gratitude when we go humbly to God in our appreciation for what He’s done for us.

Jesus died for our sins; all of our sins.  He died for the young, the old, all denominations, all races, all genders.  We must always go to the Lord and remind Him how much we are greatful for this amazing grace and gift.  We must pray in Jesus’ name.  The Lord recognizes how much we believe in His truth and His Word which says that Jesus is the Mediator between God and man.

The Word of God is God speaking to us.  As Christians and others we want to acknowledge His Word.  His Word is power.

The Scripture tells us in, Hebrews 4:12, “For the Word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.  The Word of God is God piercing the dividing asunder of our soul and our spirit; our joints and our marrow.  God can discern our thoughts and He knows the intents of our heart.  Praise God.

Prayer is communing with God Almighty and when we pray we must pray with a genuine love for God.  The Word of God says that we ought to pray without ceasing.  We should pray without stopping.  Now this does not mean that we cannot take a break on prayer but it means that no matter where we are or what we are doing we must be continuing in prayer.  When we are driving, when we go to bed, when we wake up, when we are working; in all things that we do we must come to God in prayer, always.

Whatever we face we can come to God in prayer, but not only must we come to God in prayer when we are facing difficulty but we must always be on our face, praying to God.  We must always be communing or communicating with our Father.

Communing  or communicating with the Lord is having a relationship with Him.  Prayer might be difficult to speak about or even to do, but when it is a form of communication; it pours out of the heart.  The reason that we don’t pray may be, that we need to draw closer to the Lord and devote time to Him.  When we pray we will feel a genuine reason to pray and a self-less reason to pray.

What are some reasons that we should pray?

Prayer is the power of God that moves upon our lives.

The Bible says to pray continually.

The Bible says that the prayer of the faithful avails much.

Prayer acknowledges the Lord as the source of all things in our lives.

Praying brings the Spirit of God (the Holy Spirit) in our midst.

We should pray for wisdom and understanding.

We must pray for forgiveness.

We must pray to accept Jesus, so that salvation is possible for us for eternity.

We must pray for the protection from the attack of the enemy and to be able to stand against the enemy.

We must continue in prayer so that we are able to preach effectively.

We must pray for redemption.

We should pray for our leaders and government.

We must pray for our children and our families, our descendants, and our friends.

We must pray for truth to reveal itself in our lives and ministry.

There are many other reasons to pray. The epistle of James in the Bible talks about having patience.  In James 1:3 the writer says, “but let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.”  When we pray and wait on God and when we are patient we can receive the perfect work of patience.  The Bible says we would be entire, or complete, wanting nothing.  When we pray we should want nothing from God; although we do have needs and the Lord knows what we have need of.  When we pray, we should pray and devote our heart and our words to Him.  When we do that we show the Lord that we know, that He already knows our needs before we ask.

James 4:10 says, “Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.”  When we humble ourselves we are in communion with the Lord, we are establishing a meaningful relationship.  We give God the honor He deserves.

The Bible also says to count them happy that endure.  When we pray we endure.  We need the answers of our prayers from God, when we have a need that takes us to the Father in petitions.

First, we need to draw closer to Him.  The Word of God says, seek God first and everything else will be added unto us.  So it is o.k to make our requests known to the Lord, when we pray.   The bottom line is that we should not come to God only when we are in need.  Again, He already knows what we need before we make our requests known.  As the Scripture says, “make our requests known”; it shows the Lord that we trust Him and that we believe that He will answer our requests according to His will.

We can pray for the sick:

James 5:13 says, “Is any among you afflicted? let him pray.  Is any merry?  let him sing psalms.  Verse 14 of James 5 says, “Is any sick among you?  let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord.”  Verse 15 continues with, “and the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.”  What an awesome God we have who forgives our sins even when we are sick.  God loves us just that much; He loves us greatly.

We who are sinners are loved by the Lord and we need to be devoted in prayer to our one and only Jehovah Jireh.  Amen.

Prayer for Miracles

People want to believe, even today; that there are miracles that occur in dire situations of someone’s life.  Many people still believe in angels and there are times even presently that we hear the true miracles stories of survival in someone’s life.  Whether a person survives an accident, where a car has been crushed into pieces, and it’s seemingly misunderstood how a person could have come out of such an accident, it’s called a miracle.  Divine intervention if you will, comes more often than we think to people who are a target of tragedy.  God intervenes and saves this person from death.

That is the kind of God that we have, a God who saves.  God saves, especially by sending His Son to die for mankind.  God intervenes in situations where He wants the probable target or person to continue to live for a purpose.  When the enemy knows that we have a purpose and he comes in as a flood to destroy a child of God, God has the last say.

The Bible says, that the devil comes to steal, kill and destroy.  He wants to kill.  God wants to save.  There are times when the Lord may also send angels in the fields of life.  People have attested to seeing angels.  Psalm 34, verse 7 the Word of God says, “The angel of the Lord encampeth round about them that fear Him, and delivereth them.”  The Lord sends His angels to take charge over us.  Amen.  Praises Be To His Name

BEAUTIFUL IS HIS NAME

HAVE YOU EVER JUST CALLED ON THE NAME OF JESUS?  YOU DON’T EVEN HAVE TO CALL ON HIS NAME TO FEEL THE BEAUTY OF THE MAN, THE SON OF GOD WHO WALKED THE EARTH AND WHO IS NOW SEATED AT THE RIGHT HAND OF THE FATHER.   YOU CAN ONLY SIMPLY SAY, “JESUS” AND EVERYTHING SEEMS TO COME TO A HALT.  JESUS!

WHO IS JESUS?  JESUS IS THE CHRIST, THE SON OF GOD, THE SON OF MAN, THE SAVIOR. HE CAME TO EARTH, GIVEN BY THE FATHER TO SAVE A SINFUL SOCIETY, A SINFUL HUMANITY.  HE WAS ONE HUNDRED PERCENT HUMAN AND ONE HUNDRED PERCENT DIVINE.  HE WAS GOD AND MAN ALL WRAPPED INTO ONE.  JESUS CAME TO MINISTER AND TO ULTIMATELY DIE FOR THE SINS OF THE WORLD, TO BEAR OUR SINS.  JESUS CARRIED OUR SINS UPON HIM, LITERALLY UPON HIS SHOULDERS ON A CROSS.  JESUS CARRIES OUR BURDENS EVEN TODAY.  HE IS ALIVE!

THE SON OF GOD WHO DIED FOR OUR EVERY SIN.  WE DO NOT KNOW AND NEVER WILL KNOW HOW DIFFICULT IT WAS FOR JESUS.  HE PRAYED TO THE FATHER; HE SWEAT AT GETHSEMENE AS HE WAS IN AGONY. JESUS KNEW THE POWER OF WHAT HE WAS ABOUT TO DO.  THE AGONY AND THE ENTIRE WORLD OF SINFUL PAIN AND ANGUISH OF PEOPLE THAT HE WOULD CARRY.  AS HE WAS NAILED TO A CROSS SO WERE OUR SINFUL BEINGS, PASSIONS AND DESIRES.  HE DIED FOR MANKIND, YET HE PAVED A WAY FOR US TO BE ABLE TO BECOME NEW; TO BECOME BORN AGAIN CHRISTIANS, BY THE SPIRIT.

WE WOULD BE ABLE TO START OVER SPIRITUALLY.  SAME BODY, NEW MIND AND A NEW WAY OF THINKING, UNTIL WE PASS ON TO AN ETERNITY WITH THE FATHER, IF WE ACCEPT CHRIST.  THE WORD OF GOD SAYS THAT THE ONLY WAY TO GET TO THE FATHER IS THROUGH THE SON.  WE MUST ACCEPT JESUS TO GET TO HEAVEN, WHERE THE FATHER IS.

THE POWER OF HIS NAME CAN STOP PEOPLE IN THEIR TRACKS. JUST SAYING HIS NAME, STUNS NON -BELIEVERS.  THE MENTION OF HIS NAME CAUSES BELIEVERS TO SHOUT IN EXCITEMENT.  JESUS IS HIS NAME, THE REDEEMER OF MANKIND.  BEAUTIFUL IS HIS NAME IN ALL THE EARTH.  THE BEAUTY OF HIS NAME SAVES A WORLD OF LOST PEOPLE TO START TO LIVE FOR THE LORD.  JESUS SETS US ON A BETTER COURSE, ON THE PATH OF GOD.  JESUS IS HIS NAME.  JESUS HEALED AND STILL HEALS TODAY.  CALL ON HIS NAME.  AMEN.
