Stand On His Promises

Ever had the feeling of giving up?  Just want to throw in the towel.  Of course we have.  Life brings to everyone daily uncertainties and surprises.  We think something will turn out this way, and it turns out that way.  We have goals since high school graduation, and fifteen years later we still have the same goals that seem unattainable.

Hebrews 10:23 says, “Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for He is faithful that promised;).  When we have goals and dreams or a vision for life or the future and it seems like it’s taking forever to get here; to become a reality, the Word says that we should hold fast and progress in faith.  We must believe.  We cannot concentrate on the mental illness or the conflict; the arguments or the pain.  We must look to God, and pray.  As we pray, we walk with God as in having faith and continue to believe as we are on our journey.

We must believe that if we stand, that our vision will not perish; but we will have better than we would have hoped for.  God is faithful and He promised happiness to His children.  Happiness entails the fruits of the Spirit.

Many times people think that happiness is the money, the assets, the bank account.  Happiness is the peace of God; that no matter what we have or do not have, there are more important issues such as health and family.  When we stand on the promises of God, we will have the things that truly count in this world; in our lives.  Praises Be To The Lord.
